GirlYana is an event organizing business managed by yours truly, Gerlie and Dyan. In this site, we provide everything that you need in organizing events be it wedding, debut, anniversaries or even seminars, confabs and fora. As fashion geeks, we also update women about the latest and hottest trends in fashion, beauty and entertainment.

Gerlie
As an ex DJ, college instructor, blogger and event coordinator, I found the need to be outgoing and to be an effective communicator. I love talking and listening to people, coordinating and hosting events, and witnessing rituals like weddings. From here rose the desire to embrace this job.

I am always on the lookout for everything new about fashion and almost everything that interests women. Thus, considering myself as a fashion geek. I guess I just love being a woman and being me, “GIRLie”.

Writing haikus and capturing moments through photographs top my interests though. Seeing how emotions outpour exerts a pull on me and inspires me to work on event organizing field, making the event more meaningful and memorable for people.

Dyan
When I was younger, I got so amazed of how parties are turned into a fairytale-like gathering. I like seeing people having the best times of the moment as they create lasting memories together…without all the hassle.

With sharp eyes for overlooked details and the heart for creative plans, I am your event coordinator and women’s lifestyle enthusiast. I am Dyan Hernandez.

As I was finishing my degree in Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in English and working as the editor in chief of the college newspaper, people management, deadlines, meetings, and resourceful inputs, have been part of my life since then. This helped me out to pull off events such as seminars, pageants, sportsfest, and exhibits.

Loving life with an artsy soul, I engross myself into photography, fashion, movies, music, contemporary literature, and online publishing.
