Showing off a laidback fashion style doesn’t mean you won’t look fabulous. And besides, it’s just for casual days like when you’re going to the mall, to the movies, to the park, or even when you go shopping.

Nicole Richie is one of my fashion icons. In this photo, Nicole is wearing an oversized long-sleeved tee made of light fabric and cut-out denim shorts. What spiced up her wardrobe is the orange moccasin.

Who says you can only do layering when it’s cold? Soft, lightweight fabrics can be layered for hot months. Cheryl Cole layered a baggy long sleeved tee over a white tank top and paired it with, again, cut-out denim shorts perfectly paired with the hat and face-hugging sunglasses.

Tees like this one on Lindsay Lohan is very comfy when the sun’s too hot since it’s made of sheer fabric. It looks good on lazy pants or leggings. The over-all look is simple, casual, and very feminine.

Lip balms are made of beeswax, petroleum jelly, menthol, camphor, and other various ingredients (wikipedia.org). I started using lip balm when I was in 5th grade. My aunt gave this deliciously flavored lip balm and since then, I had been enjoying the benefits of this lip saver (as others may call it).

Lip balms provide protective layer or covering on your lips as you apply ample amount of it on your kisser. In this way, your lips would have a shield from the dryness of the season. This product seals in the moisture on your lips preventing other damages that could be so ugly.

There are quite a number of brands which became famous through the years. There’s Chapstick (my all-time favorite), Burt’s Bees, Carmex, Vaseline, Nivea, Blistex, Merry Hempsters, and many others. Cosmetic lines eventually have produced their own lip balms. There are even some brands who manufacture lipstick and lip balm in one.

Lip balm evolved as time progresses. Now, there are a lot of yummy lip balm flavors to choose from. There’s strawberry, chocolate, mint, etc. My personal pick is the cherry flavored Chapstick. This gives lip balm users a happier experience with the lip’s best pal. Aside from flavours, some lip balms today also come in pretty tints. Yes, this one’s for those who are not avid lipstick fans yet are relying on the protective benefits of lip balm without sacrificing the attractiveness of one’s smoocher.

Harem Dancer. This is certainly one of the sexiest costumes that you can wear on your Halloween party. Look like a harem dancer by wearing harem pants, coin bras and cholis. Don’t forget to match it with your beaded scarf and bejeweled sandals.

Sexy African Safari. Animal print capri pants, top, wrist bands scarf all these would complete your sexy African Safari look. You may also try wearing a khaki colored short sleeve sexy blouse with tiger epaulettes matched with the sexy khaki shorts and binoculars.

Remember to always look pretty, sexy and confident. It’s a time for fun and you don’t want people getting scared of you, instead, wear a Halloween costume that will prompt them to go to you.

• A good way to ensure make-up stays put is to use both cream and powder versions of everything.
• Spend time applying foundation. If you have an oily skin, always look for an oil-free foundation or one that says ‘non-comedogenic’ on the label.
• For maximum staying power and glamour, go with a liquid liner, dot liquid liner between your lashes and smudge with a small brush to blend—the technique adds definition without hardness—’then cover liner with a matching powder eye shadow to set the look.
• To keep the eyebrows up and up, once you’ve added color, comb your brows into place with a clear eyebrow gel or mascara-style brush spritzed with hair spray.
• Eye shadow colours must suit the skin colour, so daring colours like blue and green must not be used for bride make ups. They tend to give a weird look to the face.
• If you’ve applied liquid or cream foundation, start with a cream blush, dusting it with translucent powder, then brush on a powder blush.
• To look naturally flushed—not clownish—choose a blush that’s the color of your chest, palms, or fingertips.
• Smoothen a bit of foundation on the edges of the lips before adding any color, which also prevents feathering around fine lines.
