As there are Facebook users who love the new profile layout, there are also some Facebookers who are now disgusted by it. So they went to search for ways on how to get the old Facebook layout. Unfortunately, there’s no way of getting back the old layout. Darn it.

With the new layout, your profile viewers could easily view your personal information (which i don’t think everyone would nod to). I like the new Friends tab. It’s, well, cute. Navigating your friends is easier now than the old one. Looks like they save up some space there.

The tagged photos up there, for me, should be on some other spots in the interface, not there right below the basic information. And also, the ads on the right has bigger space than your own tabs on the left.

If you’re not sure yet whether you’ll upgrade to the new Facebook layout, try browsing your friends who already changed their profile layout first or you might regret having the profile facelift.

I don’t think the management is coming up with a tool on how to go back to your old Facebook profile layout. I’m sure they are fully aware of the slams this new look is getting.

How to change to the new Facebook? You browse on your News Feeds, I’m sure you’ve got friends who have the new profile layout, click the link and then click the Take a Tour button, you’ll be guided with the steps on how to get the new layout.

So, is the new Facebook layout for December 2010 a cool move or not?

The deadliest type of skin cancer called Melanoma, results in about 8,000 deaths a year, according to the National Cancer Institute. But three factors have doctors alarmed: The rates of this cancer are rising; it has become the most common cancer for young people; and many of the cases result from the preventable, but addictive, behavior of indoor sun-tanning.

“In the last few decades, it’s certainly been on the rise. And some people think that may be a result of behavior, and UV exposure,” said Jennifer Stein, an assistant professor of dermatology at New York University’s Langone Medical Center. “This is a very serious cancer, and this is a behavior that’s preventable.” she added.

In a recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Michigan, frequent tanning bed users proved three times more likely to develop melanoma than non-users, and subjects that used tanning beds for any amount of time showed a 74-percent higher rate of melanoma than non-users, according to research published online May 27 in the journal Cancer Epidemiology, Biomarkers and Prevention.

So, with all these, would you still want to remain hot and tan? love your color girl. Resist indoor tanning and out-door activities. Protect your skin, protect you life.

During his Regis and Kelly interview, Tom Hanks discussed his upcoming HBO war series “The Pacific” which is also from Steven Spielberg and Gary Goetzman. The new HBO show covers the Pacific Theater of World War II in a ten part miniseries starting March 14th. Hanks also discussed mentioned his first ever Time Magazine cover which seemed to excite the actor.

So what exactly is the mistake made? Tom Hanks mistakingly called Kelly Ripa “Kathie Lee” in reference to Kathie Lee Gifford the former co-host of the show. Kelly Ripa corrected Hanks that she’s been a host for nine years now. Regis Philbin said “Everybody used to love Tom Hanks”. Hanks of course apologized to Kelly for the mistake.

Later on after the Tom Hanks slip up on live TV, Ripa got another jab in, but all in good humor. It was brought up that Hanks was a presenter at this year’s Oscars show. Normally it is the previous year’s actor winners who present the awards in the acting categories, so Kelly chimed in “Oh I guess, well you didn’t win last year”. Hanks asked if his nose was bleeding from the serious “pop” he just took in the face, but again there doesn’t appear to be any bad blood between “Kelly Ripa” and Tom Hanks. No comment has been made by Kathie Lee at this time about Tom Hanks on Regis and Kelly either.
