Things to Do One Month Before the Wedding Day

You only have a month left to enjoy your singleblessedness, and if you are starting to have that cold feet or what they call the “wedding jitters”, relax. You wouldn’t want wrinkles to show up on your face and make you appear ten years older in your wedding photos.

What to do a month before your wedding day?

1. Get your marriage license.
2. Fit your wedding dress for the last time and raise your final requests if changes have to be made.
3. Ask all the members of the entourage to have their final fitting as well.
4. Pick up your wedding bands. Make sure they fit well.
5. Contact guests for confirmation of their attendance. Give them the specifics of the schedule (time, location, and of course, the date) and details of the activities.
6. Have all the accessories you and your partner need for the big day. Make sure to have all your jewelries and shoes purchased.
7. Set appointment with your chosen spa and salon for you and your bridesmaids.
8. Confirm your honeymoon reservations.
9. Provide the musicians your final music list both for the ceremony and the reception.
10. Arrange everything for your name change in your driver’s license, bills, etc. And start practicing your new signature!

It’s still a month to go before the wedding day. Take things light and easy. Your wedding should be the best day ever for you and your groom so make sure to keep everything beautiful and truly special.

If you can’t afford to lay out all your plans, contact a wedding coordinator. It’s never too late to cry for help, isn’t it?

It is really worth it to take the time to research the benefits of each metal that are commonly used for wedding bands, wedding rings and engagement rings as well. And it is best to do that before you begin shopping.

Keep in mind that platinum is expensive, but is naturally white and does not lose mass over time (so you can have a platinum ring refinished over and over). White gold is not naturally white and will look more yellow over time, so if you are looking for a white metal and platinum is not an option due to its price, then you may wish to consider palladium. Wedding bands made from titanium and tungsten look sleek, but neither metal can be sized.
