He was considered one of the world’s most brilliant CEOs. In world of technology, he was god. Steve Jobs left us with the technological innovations which are fruits of his ingenious mind. But apart from those tangible devices, he also shared lessons through his words. Lessons about technology, business, and life as a whole.

Staying for long hours under the sun can cause sunburn, a usual problem of most people during summer. If we can’t afford to see a doctor or a dermatologist, here are some of the effective home treatment measures that could provide some relief from a mild sunburn:

• Use cool cloths and damp on sunburned areas.
• Take frequent cool showers or baths.
• Apply soothing lotions that contain aloe vera to sunburned areas.
• If you have aloe vera on your gardens, you may also take out it’s gel and apply it directly to the affected area.

Sometimes, a sunburn can cause a mild fever and a headache. Try to relax. Lie down in a cool, quiet room to relieve the headache. A headache may also be caused by dehydration, so drinking ample fluids may help.

At any rate, we can avoid or prevent sunburn by using high in SPF lotion or sunblocks. We could also opt to have swimming at night instead.

Brad Pitt’s ex-wife just had her hair cut and then suddenly, women all over the world tried searching for a photo of Jen and her new hairstyle. She had quite a major haircut when she decided to chop off more than half the length of her previous beachy layered locks and got herself an angular bob.

I know I promised to had my hair trimmed every month but due to my busy schedule and the agony of waiting for my hair to grow longer as fast as it can, the monthly trimming got a cross mark from my monthly calendar.

Back to Jen and her angular bob. I’m a fan of long beach waves and whenever Jen sports that ‘do, she’s just so effortlessly gorgeous. The angular bob makes her look a bit ‘guarded’, at least for me.

Here are the rules of thumb when selecting the right bangs.

.Oval Face – the oval faced folks can wear any type of style or hair. This includes bangs which can be worn in just about any style. Of course hair type, texture, length and condition should be considered.

Maxis – Long skirt ranging from mid calf to ankle skimming styles are in this summer. Shop for the maxi dresses and skirts that have been popular for many seasons now. If you are cute and short try the slightly more wearable 3/4 lengths.

70’s - a decade of long flowing skirts and decadent glamour is definitely the trend this 2011 summer. Long or Maxi dresses will be a key part of this trend as will colourful floral dresses, jumpsuits and flared trousers. So i bet it’s a nice idea to check on your old mom’s clothes and find which among those are still wearable or at least alterable.lol!

Oriental Look – kimono jackets, eastern prints and wide obi belts are fashionable this 2011 summer. Bold combinations of red, black and white will also give a distinct oriental touch to many summer formal wardrobes.

I must admit this is one great gig I would forever be grateful for. It was my first hosting gig at SM City Batangas and having one of the country’s most coveted actors with me was one elating experience. When I first went on stage, as Gerald prepares for the show back stage, camera flashes welcomed me. Hey, I’m no celebrity!

I was thinking maybe they thought I’m from ABS-CBN (Gerald’s mother network) or something. Haha! But Gerald’s fans were all nice they patiently waited for him until the clock tick in time for his appearance.

Geez, sharing the stage with now hunky Gerald Anderson wasn’t an easy task as I tried my best to hide how kilig I am to stand beside him and talk to him and look into his eyes and endure all those shrieking of his fans. Whew!

A lot of girls (even guys) were teasing me for being so lucky to host the show. Comments rushed in my Facebook account when I uploaded the photos of the show. Gerald Anderson, check. Okay, who’s next?

And so, look at the photo and guess what happened next… Aha, I hosted the event!
