Fight stress! Here are some of the food you may try eating in times of stress attacks.
- Have a stress-fighting breakfast with Milk. Milk is high in antioxidants and vitamins B2 and B12, as well as protein and calcium. A bowl of whole-grain cereal and low-fat milk in the morning will certainly jumpstart your day right.
- Tuna is another stress-buster food. It is high in vitamins B6 and B12. Tuna is also a good low-fat protein source. You may try tuna sandwich with light mayo for either snack or lunch.
- Blueberries are blue miracle workers which are loaded with antioxidants and vitamin C.
Low-calorie, Blueberries are also a good source of fiber, which can help relieve the cramps and constipation that can occur in times of stress. - Your morning buddy, Breakfast cereals can also fight stress. Cereals these days are fortified with a slew of essential vitamins and minerals, so they can be a great one-stop source of stress-fighting B vitamins, folic acid, vitamin C, and fiber.
- Beef up. Beef can chill you out with its iron, B vitamins and zinc it. Just be careful with beef’s unhealthy saturated fat, which could increase the risk of coronary heart disease and other illnesses.
