She is famous for her trademark Latin-flavored jazz-pop crossover songs during the late ’80s and early ’90s particularly in the US, the UK, France and Japan.

Basia released top-selling albums like Time and Tide, London Warsaw New York, The Sweetest Illusion, Basia on Broadway (live album) and Clear Horizon — The Best of Basia (compilation). It’s That Girl Again is her latest studio album.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, better known by her stage name Lady Gaga, is an American recording artist and the voice behind the hit songs, Just Dance and Poker Face.

Lady Gaga will visit the Philippines for the first time as part of her concert tour entitled ‘The Fame Ball Tour”. This is also the first concert tour by this American pop singer-songwriter, Lady Gaga. The tour is to promote Lady Gaga’s first studio album, The Fame. The tour started on March 12, 2009 and will continue in other countries like the Philippines. Lady Gaga described the tour as a traveling museum show incorporating Andy Warhol’s pop-performance art concept. Alternate versions of the show with minimal variations was planned by Lady Gaga herself to accommodate different venues.

Lady Gaga has indeed gained her popularity here in the Philippines with her song Poker Face and Just Dance. Gaga has many fans here in the country and it is expected that more and more Filipino music fans will go gaga over Lady Gaga’s concert this August.
