Following the Rose Parade, at 2:10 p.m. (PST), the 96th Rose Bowl Game presented by Citi will feature the No. 8 BCS-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes versus the No. 7 BCS-ranked Oregon Ducks in The Granddaddy of Them All®. The Rose Bowl Game will be broadcast exclusively on ABC and on ESPN radio. The Rose Parade will be broadcasted live on ABC, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, KTLA (Tribune), NBC, RFD-TV, Travel Channel and Univision. The Parade is also seen in more than 200 international territories and countries like the ABS CBN in the Philippines.

The 58th Miss Universe 2009 (Bahamas) pageant will be aired live on NBC and Telemundo. Again, most beautiful women from 80 plus countries will vie for the most prestigious title, the Miss Universe 2009. Let us all watch out for the winners for this year’s Ms. Universe title.

Dayana Mendoza, the reigning Miss Universe from Venezuela will crown her successor upon the announcement of winners on the coronation night to be happened on August 23 2009. Since May 2009, Mendoza has been touring the world in great height. She traveled to four continents and been to numerous countries such as Russia, Bolivia, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Italy, Spain, France, Ukraine, Argentina, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Cuba, Vietnam and UAE. Only people who luckily received the gold wrist band and tickets (who won it in an on-line lottery) will have the chance to see and watch the memorial service of Michael Jackson live at Staples Center.
